Description:
Bakelite Synthetics is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join our team remotely and support global cash operations while ensuring accurate fund movements. As part of our finance team, you will help maintain the company’s financial health and streamline treasury operations, balancing core responsibilities with administrative support, documentation, scheduling, and reporting. This role contributes to building scalable treasury processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily cash positioning and ensure proper funding of accounts; perform cash reconciliations to detect discrepancies.
• Develop and maintain cash forecasts and conduct variance analysis for liquidity planning and decision-making.
• Draft and maintain treasury processes, procedures, and internal documentation for consistency.
• Manage treasury group email inbox, including template approvals, wire requests, and ad hoc queries.
• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly treasury financial reports, including cash, debt, bank fees, interest expense, cash flow, and debt covenant reporting.
• Coordinate with external banks and internal teams on bank compliance, account management, KYC, legal documentation, and letters of credit.
• Generate ad hoc reports to analyze cash flow, funding needs, and financial performance for senior management.
• Deliver high service levels to internal stakeholders including HR, Tax, Accounts Payable, Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and Audit.
• Assist with transaction services using banking platforms (JPM Access), such as wire payments, templates, checks, and FX trades.
• Handle bank-related inquiries, including payment confirmations, returned payments, and special check handling.

Requirements / Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong understanding of cash management, forecasting, and treasury payments.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• General knowledge of accounting, financial, and operational principles.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in global treasury or finance operations.
• Proficiency in SAP and Treasury Management Systems (e.g., Kyriba).
• Experience working in a multinational or manufacturing company.
