About the Role:
Reporting to the Director of Global Trade Compliance, the Trade Compliance Analyst will maintain trade compliance data and perform detailed research and analysis. Key responsibilities include US Customs HS code determination, ECCN classification, Country of Origin verification, and Landed Cost analysis. The role serves as the primary contact for the Global Trade Tool (ONESOURCE) and requires daily coordination with Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders to resolve shipping issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day trade compliance operations and respond to data requests.
- Facilitate Customs clearance and troubleshoot shipments stuck in transit.
- Ensure adherence to import standard work processes and maintain accurate import records.
- Collaborate with procurement, transportation, IT, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth supply to manufacturing sites.
- Contribute to operational and trade compliance KPIs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in trade compliance, preferably in a multinational enterprise.
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with Customs Brokers, auditing entries, post-entry adjustments, and ACE reporting.
- Expertise in HTS classification.
- Strong problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
