Role overview:
Reporting to the Director of Global Trade Compliance, the Trade Compliance Analyst will own and maintain trade compliance data and perform detailed research and analysis. Typical responsibilities include HS (HTS) classification and ECCN determinations, Country of Origin assessments, landed cost analysis, and ensuring consistent, accurate data in the Global Trade Tool (ONESOURCE). The role will also coordinate regularly with Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders to resolve shipment issues and support daily transactional trade activities.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Support operational trade-compliance activities, responding to data requests and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with customs clearance facilitation and troubleshoot shipments stuck in transit.
  • Maintain import standard work processes and ensure compliant record keeping per company and government regulations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, transportation, IT, sales, and supply chain to safeguard supply flow to manufacturing sites.
  • Contribute to Trade Compliance and Operations KPIs.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a trade compliance role, preferably at a multinational enterprise.
  • Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience working with Customs Brokers, auditing entries, requesting post-entry adjustments, and running ACE reports.
  • HTS/HTS classification expertise required.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and computer skills; well-organized with excellent written and verbal communication.

Compensation & benefits (US ONLY):

  • Base range: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 USD per year (the final offer may vary based on experience, qualifications, location, and other factors).
