Hiring | Timekeeper (Construction Projects)

We are looking for a dependable and highly detail-oriented Timekeeper to support site administration and HR-related functions across our construction projects. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate attendance records, manpower tracking, and payroll-related data to support smooth site operations.

Role Purpose
The Timekeeper will be responsible for closely monitoring attendance, working hours, overtime, and manpower records for site workers and staff. The role supports payroll accuracy, workforce movement tracking, and regular site reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Attendance & Workforce Monitoring

  • Record and verify daily attendance using biometric systems along with manual verification
  • Monitor idle manpower and report productivity or utilization concerns
  • Track manpower mobilization, transfers, and site reassignments

Payroll & Data Accuracy

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly attendance, overtime, and leave reports
  • Provide accurate and timely data to support payroll processing
  • Assist in identifying and resolving attendance or payroll discrepancies

HR & Site Support

  • Support HR activities related to leave, vacation planning, and return-to-work coordination
  • Assist with staff and worker movement based on project requirements
  • Report absenteeism, late arrivals, and other attendance-related issues

Data, Systems & Documentation

  • Monitor biometric attendance systems and ensure data accuracy and reliability
  • Prepare manpower summaries and detailed reports
  • Coordinate with the Site Document Controller to ensure proper filing and documentation

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in construction projects preferred
  • Hands-on experience with biometric attendance systems and payroll data
  • Strong MS Excel and general computer skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
