Description:
We are currently hiring a skilled and customer-focused Telecom Engineer – Customer POC & Solutions to join a technical team based in Abu Dhabi. This role involves hands-on work with proof-of-concept deployments, system testing, and customer-facing technical support across telecom environments. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities and experience working with modern telecom and IP-based networks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute proof-of-concept installations, system configurations, and end-to-end testing
• Perform functional, integration, and interoperability testing across telecom platforms
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide first-line support during POC activities
• Support multi-vendor integrations, including interactions between 5G Core and RAN
• Analyze logs, traces, KPIs, and performance metrics to identify and resolve issues
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as test reports, low-level designs, and installation guides
• Support customer demonstrations, technical workshops, and solution presentations
• Ensure all system configurations and test results are accurately documented
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to R&D teams when required
What You Need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecom, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in telecom engineering, system integration, or technical support
• Strong knowledge of 4G and 5G signalling protocols such as SIP, Diameter, HTTP/2, and SCP
• Solid understanding of IP networking concepts and architectures
• Experience in at least one domain: Mobile Core, RAN, or IP/Transport networks
• Hands-on experience with telecom or network testing tools
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Clear communication skills to explain technical matters to customers and internal teams
• Willingness to travel to customer locations when required
