Position Summary
The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of all technology systems. This role will require strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for all technical issues reported by our clients, both over the phone and via email.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to the client’s business operations.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate team members, and ensure they are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide training and support to clients on new technology systems and updates.
- Maintain accurate records of all technical support requests and resolutions in our database.
- Work closely with our sales team to identify and resolve technical issues for potential clients during the sales process.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments to maintain a high level of expertise and provide proactive support to our clients.
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement new technology solutions for our clients.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a technical support role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems and software, including Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Experience with networking, virtualization, and cloud-based technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Experience working with ticketing systems and maintaining detailed records.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
