Star Services is currently hiring Teaching Assistants / Learning Intervention Support Assistants to support schools across Abu Dhabi. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and enjoy working closely with children in a school environment. The role focuses on providing learning support, particularly in literacy and phonics, while assisting teachers in delivering effective classroom instruction. With multiple vacancies available, this short-term contract offers valuable hands-on experience within the academic sector and may be extended based on performance and school requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support literacy development and phonics-based learning programs
- Assist students with reading, writing, and comprehension activities
- Provide support during guided reading sessions and digital learning tasks
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to support lesson delivery
- Offer one-on-one or small-group assistance to students as required
- Encourage student engagement and positive learning behavior
Requirements:
- Previous teaching or educational support experience is an advantage
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
