Summary
We are seeking a qualified IT Security Manager, responsible for protecting the organization’s digital assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems. This role involves developing and implementing security policies, managing risk assessments, and responding to security incidents. You will need a strong background in security management, proficiency in security best practices, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment.
We are a people-centered organization, and you will regularly support and interact with individual hospitals, employees, and vendors ensuring the delivery of a great experience to clients and team members.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines
- Regular interaction with our Managed Service Provider and security vendors to ensure the protection of company assets
- Lead the response to security incidents and provide thorough post-event analyses
- Manage a security awareness program to educate employees on the importance of security
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses of the organization’s systems and networks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated throughout project lifecycles
- Monitor security tools and systems for potential threats and suspicious activity
- Stay current with emerging cyber threats and security technologies
- Manage relationships with external vendors, auditors, and regulatory bodies
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI)

Preferred Experience And Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in IT security
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH strongly preferred.
- In-depth understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization
- Experience with Microsoft 365 security and environments including Entra Admin Center, Azure, and SharePoint
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Arctic Wolf experience a plus
