Job Opportunity: System Engineer

We are seeking an experienced System Engineer to join a technical team in Abu Dhabi on a 12-month contract (with potential extension). This role is ideal for a systems expert who can lead implementation, maintenance, and support across Windows Server, Azure, M365, backup solutions and endpoint management tools. Strong communication skills and a proven track record in enterprise environments are required.

Job Responsibility / Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 10–12 years working as a System Engineer or in a similar systems role.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Communication: Good spoken and written communication skills.

Skills (Mandatory):

• Windows Server administration and Active Directory management.
• Experience with Azure Stack HCI deployments.
• Hands-on experience with Rubrik backup/restore/configuration.
• Microsoft 365 administration (Intune, Arc, Security).
• Microsoft Intune experience for OS patching and software deployment.
• Microsoft Exchange Server and Office 365 / Exchange Online experience.
• Microsoft Azure & Azure AD expertise.

Role (Expert):

• Implementing, troubleshooting and supporting Windows Server on Azure Stack HCI.
• Managing Microsoft Exchange Server and Office 365 components.
• Configure and support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File/Print servers, Group Policy and Certificate Authority.
• Use Intune and Arc for patch management, software deployment and compliance reporting.
• Generate compliance and vulnerability reports via Intune.
• Manage Rubrik for backups, restores and configuration tasks.

Role (Good to have / Supportive):

• Handling incidents, service requests and major incident workflows.
• Conducting problem management and performing root cause analysis.
• Participating in change management processes.
• Managing Office 365 services (Exchange Online, EOP, MS Teams, SharePoint Online).
• Vendor coordination and third-party management.
