About the Job

Post University is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Student Finance Advocate to join the Office of Student Finance (OSF). Reporting to the Associate Director of Cash Collections, this role is responsible for assisting active and inactive students with all aspects of the tuition process while ensuring compliance with university and federal financial aid policies. The position provides a remote work option with specific technical requirements, including wired internet connection and a quiet home workspace. The work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday.

Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate with students regarding payment completion requirements
• Counsel students with high balances or delinquent accounts
• Contact students to collect outstanding balances and establish payment plans
• Manage student accounts, including data entry, account adjustments, and tracking of payments
• Coordinate with Financial Aid, Registrar’s Office, and other departments to support student financing and advising needs
• Maintain thorough knowledge of Title IV funds, regulations, and eligibility requirements
• Prepare semester-wise payment plans covering tuition, fees, room and board, lab, and other university charges
• Respond promptly to customer service issues, concerns, and escalations
• Perform other duties as assigned to support university operations

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1–2 years of customer service experience
• Excellent computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet applications, and database software
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to multitask and work in a dynamic environment
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
• Self-motivated with a passion for achieving results

Technical Requirements for Remote Work:
• Wired internet connection (50-foot Ethernet cable provided)
• Minimum 25 Mb download, 15 Mb upload, and latency below 40
• Dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions
