Description:
China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC), a globally recognized construction and infrastructure company, is seeking an experienced Storekeeper to support its major road and infrastructure projects in Dubai. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale developments and contribute to the efficient management of project materials and inventory operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in storekeeping within road construction or infrastructure environments, with hands-on experience managing inventory, maintaining records, and coordinating material requirements. Candidates with previous RTA project experience will have a distinct advantage.
This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with project, procurement, and site teams to ensure uninterrupted project operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day inventory and material storage operations
• Monitor stock levels and initiate material requisitions when required
• Maintain accurate inventory records, stock registers, and reports
• Coordinate with project teams and procurement departments regarding material requirements
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and issuance of materials
• Conduct regular stock inspections and inventory reconciliation activities
• Maintain all store documentation in accordance with company procedures
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and project requirements
• Support efficient material tracking and inventory control processes
Requirements:
• Minimum 4 years of Storekeeper experience in road construction or infrastructure projects within Dubai
• Previous experience working on RTA projects is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of inventory control, stock management, and material requisition processes
• Experience maintaining store records, inventory reports, and documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems
• Good organizational, communication, and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple inventory-related tasks efficiently
• Immediate availability or ability to join at short notice is preferred
• Strong knowledge of:
• Material requisition and inventory management procedures
• Store operations, stock control, and warehouse documentation
• ERP systems and inventory tracking tools
• Construction material handling and storage best practices
