We Are Hiring: Storekeeper – Hardwood (UAE Only)
A well-established organization in the UAE is currently looking for an experienced Storekeeper – Hardwood to manage and control hardwood materials efficiently. This role requires hands-on expertise with various types of wood and strong inventory management skills to support ongoing projects while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage hardwood materials such as teak, oak, beech, white wood, plywood, MDF, and similar items with strict control
- Ensure proper stacking, labeling, protection, and storage of all wood materials
- Receive, inspect, store, and issue materials in line with GRNs, delivery notes, and approved requisitions
- Maintain accurate stock records including quantity, size, thickness, grade, and wastage monitoring
- Prepare and update daily and weekly stock reports
- Coordinate closely with procurement and sales teams to ensure material availability
- Support timely supply of materials for projects while minimizing damage, loss, or wastage
- Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and company procedures consistently
Requirements:
- Mandatory hands-on knowledge of hardwood materials
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper in the hardwood or building materials sector
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy under pressure
