Description:
A construction company in Dubai is looking for an experienced Storekeeper to manage materials, tools, equipment, and site inventory for villa construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of construction materials, inventory control, and documentation while ensuring efficient store operations.
The role requires maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring the proper storage and issuance of materials. Candidates should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, inspect, record, and properly store incoming construction materials.
• Maintain accurate stock and inventory records for materials, tools, and equipment.
• Issue materials to site teams against approved requests and maintain proper documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify the concerned team about material shortages.
• Maintain Material In/Out records, Delivery Notes, GRNs, and Material Issue documentation.
• Keep the store organized, properly labelled, clean, and secure.
• Maintain records of power tools, hand tools, and equipment issued to workers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Site Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, and subcontractors regarding material deliveries.
• Report damaged, missing, excess, or incorrect materials immediately.
• Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile inventory with system records.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably on UAE construction sites.
• Good knowledge of civil, MEP, finishing, and general construction materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory/stock reporting.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and daily inventory records.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently.
• UAE construction experience will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Inventory control and stock management.
• Material In/Out records, GRNs, Delivery Notes, and Material Issue procedures.
• Construction site materials, tools, and equipment management.
