Description:
We are currently hiring a Store Officer – Healthcare for a full-time, on-site role in Dubai. This position is strictly for candidates with prior UAE healthcare experience. Please note that applications without relevant UAE healthcare background will not be considered.
Role Overview:
The Store Officer will be responsible for managing both medical and non-medical inventory within a healthcare facility. The role requires strict adherence to healthcare quality standards, safety regulations, and internal control procedures while ensuring accurate stock handling and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, inspect, and properly document incoming medical and non-medical supplies
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels consistently
• Issue materials based on approved requests with complete documentation
• Conduct routine stock counts, audits, and reconciliation activities
• Ensure correct storage conditions in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Monitor expiry dates and manage near-expiry or obsolete inventory
• Coordinate with procurement and finance teams for timely stock replenishment
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of storage areas
• Prepare inventory reports and assist during internal or external audits
Qualifications & Requirements:
• High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline
• Minimum 1–2 years of storekeeping experience in the UAE healthcare sector (mandatory)
• Knowledge of medical consumables, equipment, and pharmaceuticals is preferred
• Familiarity with DHA and MOH healthcare storage standards
• Experience with inventory control, stock audits, and reconciliation processes
• Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management systems
• Strong organizational, documentation, and record-keeping skills
• High level of accuracy, compliance awareness, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as under supervision
• Good communication and coordination skills
Technical Skills:
• Hands-on experience with inventory management systems
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools
• Familiarity with ERP systems is an added advantage
