Position Purpose
The Staffing Manager is responsible for optimizing company resources to ensure efficient operations and successful project execution across core events, venue operations, and emergency deployments. This role will drive local staff recruitment, onboarding, and training efforts, while building a reliable workforce in key markets through open houses and other outreach strategies. The primary objective of this position is to ensure timely and effective staffing solutions that support operational needs and service delivery excellence.
Responsibilities
- Recruit throughout the country in cities and markets where TMS operates
- Develop a process to develop and evaluate strong local talent using KPI metrics.
- Steward staff list process for core, venue and emergency management and ensure compliance through the process.
- Manage the recruiting process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring new employees
- Develop and implement staffing plans, and provide workforce training
- Attract and retain qualified employees, and monitoring hourly employee performance
- Build and provide executive reporting on productivity and wage margin for core, venue, and emergency events monthly.
- Seek new and build on existing relationships with staffing companies and be the point of contact for contract-related items or issues with staffing companies.
- Implement company policies and procedures and ensure that recruitment operations adhere to company guidelines.
- Manage emergency staff surveys throughout the year that can be used immediately for deployments.
- Provide quarterly business updates for staff performance for the management team.
- Work closely with Account Manager and/or account coordinator on staffing needs.
- Manage the Third-Party Staffing Agreement process including drafting the agreements, collection of the required documents and ensure we keep our files current.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Expected to communicate effectively with clients, customers, and staff through written and verbal communication.
- 3+ years of Talent Acquisition experience is preferred.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and demands.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong leadership skills and proven supervisory experience.
- Capable of solving complex problems.
- Ability to apply TMS methodologies and tools.
- Good written and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work well with others, take direction well, and at times work through ambiguity.
- Required to travel with the ability and flexibility to deploy on short notice.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
