Remote Worker Considerations:
Candidates selected for this position will be trained remotely and must maintain a dedicated workspace at home with company-provided technology. A stable internet connection is required, with a minimum of 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed to support video participation in meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, design, develop, and maintain software applications using the latest Microsoft technologies with minimal supervision
  • Define system scope and objectives for complex software applications
  • Develop deep understanding of assigned applications, internal customer areas, and organizational standards
  • Conduct unit testing as applicable
  • Provide accurate time estimates for assigned tasks and projects
  • Mentor junior engineers and assist in code reviews
  • Refactor legacy components appropriately
  • Communicate directly with product owners and end-users
  • Participate in training and development of team members
  • Monitor and ensure automated processes run correctly and remediate issues as needed
  • Analyze alternatives and provide cost/benefit comparisons

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in programming with ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, SQL
  • Experience with web development in client/server setups
  • Proficient in relational database design, writing queries and stored procedures in MySQL or Microsoft SQL
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Analysis and Development for enterprise applications
  • Familiarity with web services, XSLT, XML, HTTP, C# SQL optimization
  • Knowledge of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and enterprise system architecture
  • Experience mentoring other programmers and maintaining productivity in a fast-paced development cycle
  • Familiarity with Agile or SCRUM methodologies
