Description:
KLDiscovery is seeking a highly motivated Sr. FPA Analyst to join our finance team remotely. This role is integral to the company’s strategic growth plan, responsible for timely and accurate reporting of current and projected financial performance. The analyst will create financial models to guide executive decision-making and support transformative initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate business cases for new initiatives and ongoing investments.
- Analyze budgets and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reasonableness.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting, presenting financial results to business leaders.
- Develop strong finance relationships with business partners, understanding key drivers and establishing trust.
- Assist in developing annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and multi-year strategic plans.
- Support the month-end financial close process and investor/board reporting requirements.
- Manage ad-hoc projects, ensuring attention to detail, confidentiality, and timely delivery.
- Become a super-user of KLD’s financial systems, supporting various reporting needs.
Requirements:
- BS/BA in Business, Accounting, or related field (equivalent experience acceptable).
- 4–5 years of experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling using Microsoft Excel; experience with 3-statement models.
- Familiarity with Oracle and SmartView is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to interact with executives, managers, and business leaders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, solve complex problems, and maintain high-quality standards under deadlines.
