Job Summary:

BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance organization as a trusted business partner. The successful candidate will be responsible for functional cost and expense budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis of our Engineering function. Job Responsibilities

  • Support Engineering function as a full business partner, providing financial guidance and support
  • Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations
  • Prepare long and short-range forecasts of expense, labor base, staffing, overhead rates, and capital needs
  • Report financial results compared to budgets and forecasts, analyzing monthly performance and formulating recommendations
  • Present and communicate financial results to leadership to help drive strategic decisions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends and insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability communicate and present financial data to other functions and all levels of management in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related degree / equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, Oracle, Hyperion, SmartView and Midas Power BI
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, in-depth analytical, and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across multiple functions
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Understanding of Government Regulations: Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Understanding of Expenses and Overhead Rates
  • Skilled at solving complex problems

Pay Information

Full-Tme Salary Range: $81156 – $137964

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
