Navio Shipping is seeking an experienced Sr. Executive – Accounts to join its growing team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for finance professionals with a strong background in shipping, freight forwarding, or NVOCC liner accounting who are looking to advance their careers in the logistics industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations related to shipping activities, ensuring accurate accounting records, and supporting financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage accounting activities related to shipping and logistics operations
• Prepare and monitor voyage profit and loss (P&L) reports
• Handle vessel disbursement accounts and financial transactions
• Perform financial reconciliations and ensure accuracy of accounting records
• Assist with financial reporting and month-end closing activities
• Maintain compliance with company accounting policies and financial procedures
Requirements:
• Experience in NVOCC liner accounting, shipping finance, or freight forwarding
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of:
