🔹 Position Summary:
The Sr. Data Engineering & Report Visualization Manager will lead the strategy, development, and delivery of enterprise-wide data reporting and visualization solutions. This role combines advanced data engineering with analytics and visualization best practices to enable data-driven decisions across the organization. You will oversee teams managing BI infrastructure, ETL processes, data modeling, and Power BI dashboards while establishing governance, scalable frameworks, and data storytelling standards. The role partners closely with departments including Operations, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Executive Leadership.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute enterprise strategy for data engineering, reporting, and visualization aligned with corporate goals
  • Drive evolution of reporting infrastructure to enable self-service analytics
  • Lead adoption of Power BI and Microsoft Fabric across the organization
  • Establish KPI frameworks, metadata documentation, and enterprise data models
  • Partner with executives to translate strategic objectives into actionable reporting insights
  • Continuously optimize data architecture for analytics demands

Operational and Technical Excellence

  • Oversee design and delivery of scalable BI solutions using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Data Services
  • Ensure accuracy of billing and financial data pipelines through validation and governed ETL/ELT processes
  • Lead development of tabular models, semantic layers, and data marts
  • Implement governance practices including dataset certification, role-based access, and compliance alignment
  • Manage BI infrastructure and integrations with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Fabric Apps, performing performance and cost optimization reviews

People Leadership

  • Provide strategic and technical leadership to a high-performing analytics team
  • Drive talent development, cross-functional delivery, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

🔹 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in relevant fields
  • 10+ years in BI, data visualization, and data engineering
  • 5+ years managing data engineering or BI teams
  • Expertise in Power BI (DAX, semantic modeling, performance tuning)
  • Experience with Azure Data Services, Microsoft Fabric, and modern data warehouse architectures
  • Proven success implementing enterprise reporting strategies, governance, and KPI frameworks
  • Familiarity with Tableau, Domo, D3.js, Python scripting
  • Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage remote teams effectively and maintain confidentiality
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel up to 10%, including occasional overnight trips
