Overview:
Join the Engineering Decision Support team where you’ll deliver data-driven analysis and visualizations that support planning and operational decisions for enterprise brokerage and transportation systems. Working with minimal supervision, you will gather inputs from multiple operating companies, build and maintain data libraries, and turn large datasets into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data engineering & preparation: extract, transform and manage data sources; build reusable database libraries and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Analytics & modeling: perform large-scale data analysis and modeling to identify trends, root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Reporting & visualization: design, develop and maintain dashboards, reports and visualizations (implementing best practices) that inform leadership and operational teams.
• Project delivery: manage and contribute to projects that deploy new systems, reports, data feeds and decision-support tools across the organization.
• Stakeholder collaboration: partner with cross-functional teams to capture reporting requirements, prioritize analytics needs and recommend the most effective reporting platforms.
• Technical stewardship: provide guidance on data architecture, reporting platforms and visualization roadmaps; advocate for scalable, maintainable analytic solutions.
• Communication & storytelling: translate analytical outputs into clear recommendations and narratives for business audiences.
• Ad hoc support: respond to business requests, perform root-cause investigations, and support continuous process improvements.

Skills & Technical Requirements:

• SQL expertise and solid understanding of relational databases, data relationships and integrity concepts.
• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (examples: SAS, Tableau, SAS VA, Spotfire or similar).
• Familiarity with analytics toolchains and the ability to select the right platform for stakeholder needs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with multi-level stakeholders.

Experience & Education:

• Degree: Bachelor’s (or equivalent) in engineering, data analytics, computer software, or related quantitative field.
• Experience: Minimum five years in data analytics, data management or engineering roles.
• Prior experience supporting large-scale operational or planning projects is desirable.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Range: $6,510.80 – $12,353.80 monthly (estimated starting range across potential locations).
• Eligible employees may receive additional pay, premiums or bonuses and benefits such as health, vision, dental, retirement and tuition reimbursement (per company policy).
