Overview:

Join Twilio’s Billing & Order Management organization as a Sr Billing Operations Analyst and support the end-to-end order-to-cash lifecycle. You’ll be a key contributor who helps ensure orders move cleanly from deal execution through provisioning and invoicing, working closely with Deal Operations, Revenue Accounting and Sales. This role suits someone who enjoys improving processes, building scalable systems, and partnering across functions in a fast-growing SaaS company.

What You’ll Do:

•           Order & invoice execution: support an international team to process high-volume orders and ensure accurate, timely invoice generation.

•           Escalation resolution: investigate and resolve internal and external billing escalations and customer inquiries.

•           Contract validation: review contract data across systems to ensure financial accuracy and correct provisioning before invoicing.

•           Month-end controls: own SOX-compliant month-end reconciliations related to billing and provisioning to maintain completeness and accuracy.

•           Process & systems improvements: participate in new process rollouts, system enhancements and operational efficiency projects; help onboard and train new team members.

•           Cross-functional partnership: work with deal ops, accounting and sales to translate business requirements into reliable operational processes and reporting.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

•           Experience: 5+ years in billing operations or order management roles.

•           Systems experience: hands-on with Zuora and Salesforce.

•           Technical skills: strong Excel proficiency and comfort with high-volume transaction environments.

•           Analytical mindset: attention to detail, ability to prioritize, multitask and independently resolve complex issues.

•           Communication & collaboration: excellent written and verbal communication skills and a track record of working cross-functionally across time zones.

Preferred:

•           Background in SaaS/technology companies.

•           Experience supporting international teams and familiarity with SOX controls.

Location & Travel:

•           This position is remote within the US but candidates in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA and WA are not eligible to be hired for this role.

•           Occasional travel may be required for team meetings or projects.

Compensation & Benefits:

•           Estimated pay ranges by region:

o          Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C.: $71,000 – $88,000.

o          New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside SF Bay Area): $75,200 – $94,000.

o          San Francisco Bay Area, California: $83,500 – $104,400.

•           The role may be eligible for Twilio equity and bonus programs and includes standard benefits such as healthcare, retirement savings, paid leave and other region-dependent offerings. Final salary will be set based on experience, skills and location.
