Join Verathon as a Sr. Accounts Receivable Specialist!
Verathon® is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This remote role (within 75 miles of Bothell, WA) requires professional competency in accounts receivable operations and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process customer payments via wire, ACH, lockbox, check, and credit card.
• Monitor daily bank activity and ensure accurate recording.
• Manage aged accounts receivable, contacting customers to resolve overdue invoices and underlying payment issues.
• Communicate effectively with managers regarding credit matters, including bad debt and bankruptcy situations.
• Research and analyze accounts, resolving customer inquiries while coordinating with multiple departments.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, providing excellent service.
• Support and provide backup to other team members as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
• 2-4 years of experience in accounts receivable; cash application experience preferred.
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service excellence and professional integrity.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, critical thinking, and judgment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
