  • Prepare and post journal entries for bank activity, accruals, reclasses, prepaid/lease amortization, depreciation, intercompany settlements, allocations, and related items.
  • Participate in monthly close meetings to discuss accruals, timelines, and provide analytic support explaining fluctuations versus budget/prior periods.
  • Support interim and year-end audits and tax processes by preparing schedules, organizing documentation, and assisting with inquiries (including escheatment / unclaimed property and business personal property filings).
  • Contribute to special projects, automation efforts, and reporting improvements to streamline processes.
  • Help develop and update accounting policies and controls, identifying opportunities to strengthen processes.
  • Cross-train with accounting team members to provide backup coverage for key functions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on general accounting and expense accruals and maintain professional knowledge through ongoing learning.
