Job Summary:
This customer-facing role manages day-to-day communication, program penetration, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth within assigned small to mid-size accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement opportunities for supply cost reduction, rebate growth, quality and safety improvements, sustainability, and vendor diversity
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding programs and customer needs
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to grow business volumes
  • Manage customer contract requirements using project management tools
  • Facilitate cross-functional activities to ensure satisfaction and growth
  • Create clear written materials and presentations (strategic account plans, executive business reviews)
  • Conduct timely and actionable customer meetings
  • Support team efforts to serve customers, company, and suppliers
  • Visit clients regularly to review product adoption, showcase new programs, and align on goals
  • Provide training and support for company technology and reporting platforms
  • Maintain strong relationships and operational alignment at client locations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3–5+ years in account management or customer success
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to build effective interpersonal relationships across internal and external teams
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPivot, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Up to 50% travel annually
