Job Summary:
This customer-facing role manages day-to-day communication, program penetration, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth within assigned small to mid-size accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement opportunities for supply cost reduction, rebate growth, quality and safety improvements, sustainability, and vendor diversity
- Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding programs and customer needs
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to grow business volumes
- Manage customer contract requirements using project management tools
- Facilitate cross-functional activities to ensure satisfaction and growth
- Create clear written materials and presentations (strategic account plans, executive business reviews)
- Conduct timely and actionable customer meetings
- Support team efforts to serve customers, company, and suppliers
- Visit clients regularly to review product adoption, showcase new programs, and align on goals
- Provide training and support for company technology and reporting platforms
- Maintain strong relationships and operational alignment at client locations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3–5+ years in account management or customer success
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Project management experience
- Ability to build effective interpersonal relationships across internal and external teams
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPivot, Word, and PowerPoint
- Up to 50% travel annually
