Description:
Crown Hospital One Day Surgery in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi, is looking for a skilled and patient-focused Sonographer to join its medical team. The role requires performing high-quality ultrasound examinations while ensuring accurate diagnostics and providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, gynecological, musculoskeletal, and vascular scans
• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture precise images for diagnostic purposes
• Collaborate with physicians to provide clear images and relevant clinical insights
• Evaluate imaging results to ensure quality standards are maintained
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during procedures
• Prepare patient reports and document findings in the EMR system
• Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and functioning of ultrasound machines
• Follow hospital protocols, infection control measures, and safety guidelines
• Assist in patient preparation and explain procedures to reduce anxiety
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the department
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Imaging or Sonography
• Valid DOH / HAAD License
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience, UAE experience preferred
• Proficient with various ultrasound modalities
• Excellent communication, patient handling, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a one-day surgery clinical environment
• Languages: Hindi, Arabic, English
