Pepco Group of Companies is seeking an experienced and driven Solar Project Manager to lead solar initiatives from concept through to commissioning. The ideal candidate will take ownership of projects, ensuring they run on time, within budget, and meet quality, safety and environmental standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge of solar systems, excellent stakeholder management, and proven leadership on site-based works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end solar projects, from detailed planning and resource scheduling to final commissioning and handover.
- Coordinate and maintain clear communication with clients, engineering consultants, contractors, and internal teams to keep project milestones on track.
- Monitor and control project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation; identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality assurance, and environmental requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to project engineers and site teams; resolve technical issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Proven track record managing solar power or renewable energy projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Prior UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
- Candidates must be available for immediate joining.
