Rinsed is transforming the $15 billion car wash industry with a B2B SaaS platform that enables automated car washes to shift from single washes to all-you-can-wash subscription models. As a Software Engineer focused on support tooling, you will collaborate closely with the engineering and support teams to address internal requests and bug reports, while contributing technically to core products to enhance usability and support efficiency. This role balances hands-on problem-solving with the development of tools to improve long-term software quality.
Key responsibilities include:
• Write efficient, clean, and well-tested code that is easy to read and maintain
• Collaborate with support and engineering teams to diagnose issues, document findings, and implement solutions through bug fixes or product enhancements
• Analyze requirements, engage with stakeholders, and communicate product updates internally
• Work cross-functionally to build and improve Rinsed’s product suite
Candidate profile:
• Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and disciplined with strong collaboration skills
• Transparent in communication, seeks frequent feedback, and works effectively with team members
• Pragmatic and action-oriented, capable of implementing short-term fixes while planning for long-term stability
• Comfortable proactively reaching out across functions to gather context and solve problems
Required expertise:
• 3+ years of software development experience, preferably full-stack
• Familiarity with Ruby, Rails, Postgres, JavaScript, RSpec (or similar testing frameworks)
• Strong proficiency in SQL
• Experience contributing to a mature SaaS product with knowledge of CI/CD, testing practices, and software development best practices
