The Engineering team at Orum is seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to the development of critical product features, working on both backend and frontend systems to support high-volume, real-time workflows. This role involves collaboration with Product Managers, Designers, and fellow Engineers to deliver scalable, maintainable, and impactful user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own key product features from concept to deployment and iteration.
- Design and build scalable systems (~70% backend, 30% frontend) for event-driven workflows such as routing calls and processing audio streams for speech recognition.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to shape intuitive and high-performance experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while contributing to team-wide standards.
- Continuously learn and adopt best practices across the stack, sharing knowledge with teammates.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience in JavaScript/TypeScript development.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases (SQL / RDBMS).
- Proven ability to own features end-to-end and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Appreciation for simple, maintainable, and well-tested code.
