Description:
Centro Benefits Research is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our growing remote team in the United States. Role Overview:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang.
• Build responsive, accessible user interfaces with React and Typescript.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Identify and resolve application performance bottlenecks and bugs.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure high-quality software delivery.
Core Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Golang and Typescript, including relevant libraries and frameworks.
• Experience translating Figma designs into reusable components.
• Knowledge of ORMs, web frameworks, and testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with Git and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Haves:
• Experience in the insurance industry.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as DataDog.
Education & Experience:
• 3+ years in software development, with a proven track record of delivering complex features.
• Experience in Agile SDLC environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Base pay $130,000 – $150,000 per year depending on skills, experience, and location.
