Description:
Versa Networks is seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Software Engineer to join our Remote Browser Isolation (RBI) team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-hosted RBI infrastructure and backend services, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop cloud-based applications and microservices hosted on Kubernetes clusters
• Implement and manage customer Kubernetes resources and controllers
• Oversee end-to-end development and deployment lifecycle, including:
- Writing high-quality unit tests
- Creating deployment manifests and Helm charts
- Adding monitoring support for metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting
• Design and implement scalability, fault tolerance, and observability improvements
• Collaborate with team members to enhance cloud infrastructure and service reliability
Qualifications & Requirements:
• 2+ years of software development experience in Go
• 2+ years of experience developing, deploying, and operating services in Kubernetes
• Experience with Kubernetes custom resources and controllers
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks such as ELK, Prometheus/Grafana
• Experience implementing web application backends in Go following best practices (authentication, authorization, logging, tracing)
• Knowledge of identity and authentication concepts including SAML and OIDC is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and ability to work independently and in a team
