We’re Hiring: Software Engineer, Product
Render is building a modern cloud platform designed for developers creating AI-native, full-stack, multi-service applications. Our mission is to remove the complexity of traditional cloud infrastructure while providing power, scalability, and developer-friendly simplicity. The platform supports persistent compute, dynamic autoscaling, built-in orchestration, and observability, enabling teams to launch and manage real-world applications without managing servers.
🔹 What You’ll Do:
- Build new products and features to enhance Render’s platform and user experience
- Collaborate closely with design, product, engineering, and cross-functional teams
- Contribute to the evolution and scaling of the Render codebase and underlying technology
- Participate in team planning, roadmapping, and goal-setting
- Help shape team culture, practices, and development processes
- Participate in on-call rotation alongside your team
🔹 Requirements:
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of professional software development experience; startup experience is a plus
- Experience collaborating with product and design teams
- Proven ability to work across the stack, both collaboratively and independently
- Strong understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple programming languages
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to make pragmatic technical decisions
🔹 Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with modern build and deployment tooling
- Experience with product-driven growth or enterprise-focused products
- Experience with technologies such as Go, TypeScript, React, Kubernetes, Postgres, Terraform, Temporal
