A leading organization is seeking a talented Software Engineer (Java) to join its onsite team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for experienced Java developers who are passionate about building reliable, scalable, and secure enterprise applications that support airline operations and business-critical systems.
The successful candidate will work closely with business and operational teams to develop high-performance software solutions, integrate enterprise applications, and contribute to continuous product improvements using modern Java technologies and AI-assisted development tools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
• Integrate applications with airline operational systems, including crew management, flight operations, disruption management, and safety & security platforms.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, testing, and application enhancements to maintain software quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency and software quality.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in Java software development.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, Microservices, and SQL databases.
• Experience with application development, maintenance, and production support.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience in the airline operations domain is preferred.
