Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team of software engineers, with potential to grow the team further
- Operate within a supportive management structure that values autonomy, trust, and low bureaucracy
- Take ownership of a significant portion of the codebase and guide architectural decisions
- Contribute directly to the development of high-traffic web applications with frequent releases
- Influence development workflows, coding standards, and overall software quality
- Work daily with technologies including Ruby on Rails, React, Node.js, CSS, RSpec, Elasticsearch, and SQL
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- At least 1 year of experience leading or managing web application development teams
- Experience guiding scrum-based teams as a scrum master, technical lead, or similar role
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/React, Node.js, Rails/MVC frameworks, MySQL, NoSQL databases, and RESTful APIs
- Strong passion for building collaborative, team-first engineering cultures
- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills
