As a Software Engineering Evaluator, you will play a critical role in building and refining datasets used to train and benchmark large language models. This position involves close collaboration with AI researchers and cross-functional teams to improve the quality, performance, and reliability of AI-generated code.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Curating high-quality code examples and building accurate solutions in Python, JavaScript (including ReactJS), C/C++, Java, Rust, and Go
  • Reviewing, correcting, and refining AI-generated code to ensure efficiency, scalability, and reliability
  • Collaborating with internal teams to enhance AI-powered coding solutions based on industry benchmarks
  • Building agents capable of verifying code quality and identifying recurring error patterns
  • Evaluating AI model capabilities across the full software engineering lifecycle, including architecture design, API development, production implementation, testing, monitoring, and maintenance
  • Designing automated verification mechanisms to validate solutions for software engineering tasks

Required skills and background:

  • Several years of hands-on software engineering experience (5+ years total)
  • At least 2 years of continuous full-time experience with a top-tier product or technology company
  • Strong expertise in full-stack development and deploying production-grade, scalable applications
  • Deep understanding of software architecture, system design, debugging, and code review practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for structured technical evaluations

Engagement details:

  • Flexible commitment ranging from a minimum of 10 hours per week up to 40 hours per week, with partial PST overlap required
  • Contract-based role with no medical benefits or paid leave
  • Initial duration of 1 month, starting next week, with possible extensions based on performance and fit
  • Candidates must be based in the United States, Canada, or Western Europe (including the UK, Netherlands, Italy, Germany, and similar regions)
