Description:
TTM Technologies, a top-five global manufacturer of printed circuit boards and technology products, is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our team. This remote role involves developing software for Front End Engineering automation solutions, with responsibilities spanning analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, and documentation. The position may require up to 50% travel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow current software development processes and best practices
• Design and architect end-to-end data solutions across multiple domains and business units
• Evaluate and implement new platform features to improve software maturity
• Perform tasks within budget and schedule constraints
• Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to execute engineering tasks
• Prepare status reports and document manufacturing and process engineering requirements
• Support Pre-Production Engineering with software development
• Collaborate with software providers to drive improvements and resolve application issues
• Continuously improve tooling, data distribution, quality, workflow, and throughput
• Integrate new systems and software revisions into production
• Apply judgment and urgency to meet changing business needs and daily demands
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, emphasizing training and process documentation
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Object-oriented design methodology and full software development life cycle experience
• Ability to work effectively across development teams, project managers, business analysts, and engineering staff
• Adaptability to changing business requirements and code refactoring
• General understanding of LLM and ML technologies for application in development
• Disciplined approach to documenting code and system requirements
Education and Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and TypeScript
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Compensation and Benefits:
