As a Social Media Marketing Assistant, you’ll work closely with Social Media Managers to execute high-quality content, support account management, and contribute to client success. You will help organize deliverables, coordinate content, track performance, and provide creative input while taking ownership of assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Coordination + Prep
• Assist in building and organizing viral content scripts for Instagram, TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Support content preparation for client filming sessions including scripts, hooks, trends, and shot lists
• Collaborate with video editors and graphic designers to ensure smooth content workflow
Platform Management + Engagement
• Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and tags across social platforms
• Track trends and contribute ideas for fast-moving, reactive content
• Maintain consistent brand voice and tone for each client
Performance Support + Reporting
• Track KPIs including reach, engagement, retention, and virality
• Assist in preparing client-facing performance reports and insights
• Identify successful content strategies and flag areas for improvement
Administrative Execution
• Organize projects and content libraries using Notion, Basecamp, and Hootsuite
• Maintain calendars, file systems, and internal team communication
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and all deliverables are completed accurately
Requirements:
• 1–2 years of experience in content marketing, social media, or digital strategy
• Hands-on experience managing posts, calendars, and social media performance
• Proficiency in Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Meta tools
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Familiarity with Notion, Hootsuite, Canva, Google Docs, Basecamp
• Passion for branding, storytelling, and creating performance-driven content
Preferred / Bonus Skills:
• Experience with aesthetics, med spa, cosmetic, or personal branding clients
• Video editing or videography skills (CapCut, Canva, Adobe)
