We’re Hiring: Social Media Coordinator
Starface World is seeking a talented and energetic Social Media Coordinator to join our team on a six-month contract basis, with the potential for conversion to full-time based on performance. You’ll be responsible for editing, managing, and posting content while helping brainstorm unique and engaging concepts for social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and Prepare Video Content
✔ Edit video content primarily using Adobe Premiere Pro, ensuring smooth, polished, and engaging results.
✔ Add music/audio and layer sound effects as needed.
✔ Export content in platform-specific formats for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
✔ Use Photoshop for light photo and graphic edits; bonus if familiar with After Effects.
✔ Edit both self-shot and creator content: trimming, captions, overlays, CTAs, and final post prep.
✔ Collaborate with the copy team to finalize messaging before publishing.
Manage Content Publishing & Platform Execution
✔ Oversee daily posting across all social channels, following the content calendar precisely.
✔ Prepare posts with proper assets, captions, sounds, tags, and thumbnails.
✔ Manage TikTok Spark Ads: collect Spark codes, tag products, update ad briefs, and confirm with the ads team.
✔ Double-check for typos, broken links, or errors and resolve immediately.
Stay Organized & Synced with the Team
✔ Monitor content and ad briefs to ensure consistency across platforms.
✔ Support updates or changes to briefs and decks in real time.
✔ Maintain organized documentation and content plans ready for launch.
Brainstorm & Concept New Content
✔ Contribute ideas during brainstorms aligned with Starface’s brand and community.
✔ Source potential creators or artists for evergreen and campaign content.
✔ Collaborate with Influencer, Community, and Creative teams to align social strategy with brand goals.
Shoot Social-First Content
✔ Capture authentic and fun moments suitable for TikTok and Reels using smartphones.
✔ Understand lighting, angles, and platform trends for maximum engagement.
Requirements:
✔ 2+ years of hands-on social media content management experience.
✔ Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro; Photoshop and After Effects knowledge is a plus.
✔ In-depth understanding of TikTok and YouTube Shorts trends.
✔ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage content calendars.
✔ Creative and enthusiastic about making fun, engaging content.
✔ Collaborative and communicative with a positive attitude, even in a remote environment.
✔ Ability to contribute new ideas and discover fresh talent aligned with the brand.
✔ Understanding of Starface’s bold, joyful, and slightly silly brand voice.
Compensation & Work Details:
✔ $25/hour
✔ Six-month contract with potential full-time conversion.
✔ Approximately 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday.
✔ Flexible Fridays and Summer Fridays.
✔ Fully remote work environment.
