Future is Now Coalition (FiNC) is looking for a Social Media Contributor to help drive our mission of building a citizen-led, fair, and transparent democracy. This unique part-time role offers an opportunity to shape the future of digital democracy while contributing 15–20 hours per week. Compensation is delayed until full operations, and team members receive an ownership stake in FiNC, operating under a cooperative-style nonprofit structure.

Objectives and Responsibilities:

  • Targeted Outreach: Strategically share FiNC’s content across platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Facebook Groups, Substack, and other relevant online communities.
  • Earned Media Strategy: Facilitate reposts, shoutouts, and media coverage by building relationships with influencers, community leaders, and aligned organizations.
  • Engage and Respond: Actively interact with audiences via comments, DMs, and discussions to strengthen engagement and community relationships.
  • Cross-Posting and Collaboration: Identify opportunities for collaboration with organizations, activists, and influencers to expand FiNC’s reach.
  • Community Research: Continuously track new groups, forums, and platforms to amplify FiNC’s mission.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep expertise in social media platforms, including TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Substack, and emerging communities.
  • Knowledge of earned media strategies, influencer outreach, and community collaboration.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build authentic online relationships.
  • Action-oriented, highly organized, and capable of executing a targeted outreach plan.
  • Passionate about FiNC’s mission and able to advocate persuasively to diverse audiences.
