Role Overview:
We are looking for a creative Social Media Content Creator to produce engaging short-form content for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels. You will be an integral part of our marketing team, shaping content that entertains, inspires, and drives conversation online.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, script, produce, and shoot short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Create entertaining, shareable content that aligns with Duolingo’s brand and voice.
- Stay in tune with social trends and fandoms, responding quickly to capitalize on memes and viral moments.
- Collaborate with the marketing team, business development, and design studio to promote product features, launches, podcasts, course updates, and other initiatives.
- Participate in large-scale content campaigns, including working with creators and animated characters.
- Track content performance and run experiments to refine short-form video strategies.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of social media experience at a major brand or organization.
- Proficient in video production and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere) and in-app social media tools.
- Strong understanding of social media trends and rapid-response content creation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with social media communities.
- Willingness to relocate and work in Pittsburgh, PA or New York, NY.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in multiple languages.
- Ability to perform in a mascot suit for promotional content.
