Description:
DAR is seeking a detail-oriented Site Interior Designer to join its team in Dubai. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in interior design site supervision, project coordination, and ensuring that construction activities align with approved design specifications.
The successful candidate will oversee interior works on-site, coordinate with clients and project stakeholders, review technical documentation, and help maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction process. Previous UAE project experience will be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor interior design works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, samples, and other technical documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams on design-related matters.
• Identify and report site discrepancies, quality concerns, and required design modifications.
• Follow up on inspections, approvals, and corrective actions to ensure project quality.
• Track project progress and provide regular updates to the project team.
• Verify that approved materials and interior finishes are installed according to project requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of site observations, technical instructions, and design-related correspondence.
• Assist in resolving technical and design issues encountered during construction.
• Ensure all interior works meet project specifications, quality standards, and completion deadlines.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant interior design experience, including site supervision.
• Previous UAE project experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Interior finishes, materials, specifications, and construction methods.
• Shop drawings, technical documentation, and construction details.
• AutoCAD and the interpretation of interior design drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of additional design software is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple site priorities and meet project deadlines.
