Description:
OIA Interior Design & Fit-Out is seeking a qualified Site Foreman with an engineering background to become part of its execution team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who can efficiently manage daily site activities while ensuring projects are completed on time and according to quality standards.
The successful candidate will oversee interior fit-out operations, coordinate site teams and subcontractors, monitor project progress, and maintain a safe and organized work environment throughout the execution phase.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily site operations and interior fit-out activities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Allocate and manage site manpower while coordinating effectively with subcontractors and trade teams.
• Monitor work progress to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, project schedules, and quality standards.
• Report daily progress, safety concerns, site issues, and potential delays to the Project Manager.
• Ensure proper handling of materials, efficient use of tools, and maintain a well-organized construction site.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in site supervision for interior fit-out and construction projects, preferably within the UAE.
• Ability to read, interpret, and execute technical shop drawings and site layouts.
• Valid UAE driving license and ownership of a personal vehicle are mandatory.
• Strong communication, manpower management, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional proficiency in English; Arabic language skills will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Interior fit-out execution and site supervision.
• Technical shop drawings and construction site layouts.
• Site safety practices, workforce coordination, and quality control.
