Description:
SAEC Foundations, a specialized foundation and geotechnical contractor, is inviting qualified candidates to join their team as Site Engineer for piling projects based in Abu Dhabi. This role focuses on delivering high-quality piling solutions while ensuring safety and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. The selected candidate will be actively involved in supervising piling works and coordinating with various stakeholders for smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee piling activities on-site to maintain quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate effective operations.
• Analyze and interpret project drawings and specifications accurately for on-site implementation.
• Compile daily site reports, provide progress updates, and manage documentation.
• Monitor the performance of piling equipment, drilling parameters, and installation quality.
• Enforce safety protocols and participate in safety briefings and inspections.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical and site-related challenges.
• Conduct quality assurance checks including concrete sampling and coordinating pile integrity tests.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience working on piling or deep foundation projects.
• Strong familiarity with bored piles, driven piles, CFA, or diaphragm wall systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings proficiently.
• Understanding of geotechnical factors related to piling and soil conditions.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
• Prior experience in the UAE or GCC region is preferred.
• Holding a valid UAE driving license is advantageous.
