About the Role:
AM Global is seeking a skilled Senior Technical Writer to join a leading technology client’s Software Development team. This position requires translating complex software and technical concepts into clear, structured, and user-friendly documentation across multiple projects and products.
Key Responsibilities:
▪️ Create and maintain technical documentation including API references, programming guides, installation manuals, system specifications, and user manuals.
▪️ Collaborate with software engineers to collect technical details and convert them into concise, understandable content.
▪️ Develop diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes to validate requirements.
▪️ Ensure consistency in documentation style, terminology, and formatting across all materials.
▪️ Produce documentation supporting software development plans, release procedures, defect management, and quality assurance processes.
Requirements:
▪️ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
▪️ Minimum 5 years of technical writing experience in software or engineering.
▪️ Strong coding knowledge is mandatory.
▪️ Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
▪️ Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
▪️ Familiarity with UML, BPMN, and technical documentation standards.
