Description:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Technical Coordinator with substantial experience in interior fit-out projects to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing technical execution, ensuring seamless coordination across teams, and delivering high-quality results on both commercial and residential interior fit-out projects.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Technical Coordinator, focusing on interior fit-out projects
- Strong understanding of interior fit-out construction processes, materials, and finishes
- Proven ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and coordination among design teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients
- In-depth knowledge of UAE building codes, standards, and regulations for interior fit-outs
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is a plus, along with other technical project management software
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate technical activities between engineering, design, and construction teams to ensure alignment and efficiency
- Facilitate timely communication of technical information between contractors, consultants, and clients
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports
- Organize and lead technical meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions
- Support resolution of on-site technical issues to ensure smooth construction execution
- Track project timelines, resources, and budgets related to technical aspects
- Design, analyze, and implement engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements
- Develop and review engineering plans, technical drawings, and specifications
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and architects to integrate technical solutions into workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during construction phases
- Conduct on-site inspections to monitor quality and performance of construction work
- Ensure sustainable and cost-effective engineering practices
- Report directly to the Technical Manager
