Description:
Nango is seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Engineer to join our growing team and work directly with key customers and prospects. This remote, USA-based role is technical, high-impact, and customer-facing, bridging engineering, product, and business functions.
As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will work hands-on to design, implement, and debug complex integrations using Nango’s platform. You will help customers build production-grade integrations, proof of concepts, and advanced examples using TypeScript and Node.js. Supporting customers in solving technical challenges through calls, pairing sessions, and async support will be a critical part of your role.
You will also create reusable templates, reference implementations, and integration patterns, often leveraging AI to increase efficiency. Acting as a technical liaison, you will define best practices, respond to advanced support requests, collaborate with product teams to improve the platform, and engage with the open-source community on complex use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex integrations for customers
- Build production-ready integrations, proof of concepts, and advanced examples using TypeScript and Node.js
- Support customers on complex technical challenges via calls, pairing sessions, and asynchronous communication
- Develop reusable templates, reference implementations, and integration patterns
- Define and enforce best practices for high-quality integrations on Nango
- Collaborate closely with product and business teams to identify gaps, improvements, and customer needs
- Act as a technical bridge between engineering, product, support, and customers
- Engage with the open-source community to address advanced integration topics
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience with strong hands-on coding skills
- Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and modern backend stacks
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs and integrations
- Strong customer-facing skills, including teaching, pairing, and explaining complex concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Startup-ready: autonomous, ownership-driven, and comfortable with ambiguity
- Pragmatic, positive, and collaborative mindset
- Based in the USA
