Wealthbox is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our fully remote team in the U.S. We are an AI-powered CRM platform trusted by thousands of financial advisory firms daily to manage clients, run practices, and grow businesses. Key Responsibilities:
• Build core backend functionality using Ruby on Rails and relational databases
• Ship features using AI tools, LLMs, and agentic workflows
• Architect backend improvements for performance and scalability
• Develop React components in TypeScript for customer-facing applications
• Build and deploy 3rd party integrations to expand platform functionality
• Drive projects end-to-end, from concept to production, making technical and product decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product design, user experience, and implementation
Requirements:
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 5+ years of professional full-stack web development experience
• Strong knowledge of Ruby and Rails (or similar backend frameworks)
• Proficiency in JavaScript with React, Vue, or Angular
• Experience or interest in AI/LLM technologies and prompt-first development workflows
• Track record of maintaining production applications, writing clear, maintainable, and tested code
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and regular deployments
• Strong UX sensibilities and commitment to usability
• Ability to mentor junior engineers is a plus
