As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain backend systems for a new customer-facing AI-driven product. You will collaborate with other engineering teams, lead technical solutions, and ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop GoLang backend services for a new product.
  • Implement agentic systems for planning, integration code generation, sandbox validation, and reporting.
  • Ensure system reliability and performance from design through deployment.
  • Contribute to an intuitive UI for users to compose and iterate on workflows.
  • Mentor engineers and establish standards for code quality and design.
  • Drive product evolution to enhance customer adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years building distributed systems and APIs.
  • Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Anthropic, Copilot).
  • Proficiency in one or more OOP languages: Go, Java, Python, C++.
  • Cloud experience with GCP or AWS.
  • Experience with data modeling, schema evolution, and microservices in containerized environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred / Nice to Have:

  • Hands-on experience with LLMs or AI agents.
  • Experience building evaluation frameworks for LLM quality and safety.
  • Knowledge of vector search, embeddings, and retrieval patterns.
  • Integration of multiple vendor platforms.
  • Workflow orchestration experience (e.g., Temporal).
  • Frontend experience with React or similar.

Onboarding Timeline:

  • 30 Days: Understand current services, workflows, integration templates, and internal tools.
  • 60 Days: Contribute backend changes, improve tests, resilience, and observability.
  • 90 Days: Lead component refactors, drive architectural improvements, and enhance reliability and scalability.
