Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our software engineering team. You will be instrumental in developing solutions for the automotive remarketing industry, taking ownership of critical projects, shaping future processes, and mentoring junior staff. You will work across architecture, design, development, testing, and delivery to support our growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance core software products
- Bug fixing, troubleshooting, and improving existing code
- Participate in the design and iterative development of new components and systems
- Conduct code reviews, testing, and cross-team collaboration with product owners, designers, testers, and other developers
- Provide technical guidance and recommend solutions for implementing designs or resolving issues
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in software development
- Expertise in NodeJS and JavaScript frameworks
- Experience designing scalable systems and optimizing performance
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3)
- Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases and declarative query languages
- Familiarity with code versioning tools, especially Git
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles
- Experience with MySQL, agile methodologies, and working in cross-functional teams
- Highly organized, proactive, self-motivated, and excellent communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud experience (AWS)
- Microservices architecture and design pattern knowledge
- Relevant certifications (AWS, Scrum, or similar)
