As a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack), you will play a critical role as one of the foundational technical hires. This role goes far beyond routine development work and places you at the center of product ownership, technical decision-making, and long-term platform scalability. You will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from system architecture and feature design to deployment, optimization, and ongoing maintenance.
What You Will Do:
- Take full ownership of end-to-end development across the stack using NestJS and React, ensuring system reliability and performance.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications while designing and implementing new product features.
- Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, including IAM services such as Cognito.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and manage infrastructure as code with CloudFormation or CDK.
- Research emerging technologies, develop proofs of concept, and ensure the platform remains secure and up to date.
- Provide advanced L3/L4 production support and resolve critical technical issues efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
Technology Environment:
- Frontend technologies including React, TypeScript, and SCSS with modern JavaScript practices.
- Backend development using NodeJS, NestJS, and Python.
- Databases and data stores such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and DynamoDB.
- Cloud-native development on AWS with CDK.
- Search platforms including Elasticsearch, Solr, or OpenSearch.
- Mobile development exposure, preferably Android with Kotlin.
- Third-party integrations with Shopify for e-commerce and Zoho for CRM and Deluge scripting.
Professional Profile:
- Strong background in system design, RESTful API development, HTTP protocols, and networking fundamentals.
- Extensive experience with AWS, Docker Compose, and Linux-based environments.
- Comfortable leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code to enhance productivity.
- Advanced and disciplined use of Git for version control.
